Make a calender of what happened in your school in 2010: get children to use drawings, entries, other means

Get your children together and recall with them all the interesting things that happened in your class and school in 2010: maybe the new hand-pump was installed, a reading corner began functioning, a favourite teacher left to join another school, a bird made a nest in the building, someone visited, tests were conducted, someone got injured, two people who were not on speaking terms began talking again, a hand-washing campaign took place, and a hundred other things happened.

Recall these and discuss the best ways to represent them on chart papers - with a bird's feather, a journal entry, a newspaper style report, a child's drawing, even a photograph. Use these and other ways to capture what happened in the months of 2010!  If you do make such a chart send me a photo to display in this blog.

Later (in 2011), of course, you can do so many more things with these charts...



बच्चों के साथ मिल कर २०१० का स्थानीय केलेंडर बनाएं  - चित्रों और डायरी लेखन के सहारे बीते साल की यादें पकड़ें 


बच्चों को साथ बिठाएं और याद करें कि पिछले साल के दौरान कक्षा और स्कूल में क्या-क्या हुआ, ख़ास तौर पर मजेदार और याद रखने लायक बातें. जैसे कि नए हैण्ड-पम्प का लगना, आपके रीडिंग कॉर्नर का शुरू होना, किसी प्रिय शिक्षक का तबादला, किसी चिड़िया का बिल्डिंग में घोंसला बनाना, किसी याद रहने वाले व्यक्ति का स्कूल आना, टेस्ट या परीक्षाएं, किसी को चोट लगी, दो लोग जो एक दूसरे से बात नहीं करते थे फिर से दोस्त बन गए, हाथ धोने का अभियान चला, और सैकड़ों अन्य बातें हुईं.

इन सब को याद करें और तय करें इन्हें चार्ट पेपर पर कैसे दर्शाएंगे. चिड़िया का पंख, एक डायरी एंट्री, अखबार टाइप की रिपोर्ट, बच्चों द्वारा बनाये चित्र, कोई फोटोग्राफ... इन सब और अन्य तरीकों का उपयोग करें और दर्शाएँ कि क्या हुआ था २०१० में! और अगर आप ऐसा चार्ट बनाते हैं तो मुझे उसका फोटो ज़रूर भेजें, इस ब्लॉग के लिए.

और बाद में (याने २०११ में) तो आप इन चार्टों से बहुत कुछ और कर ही सकते हैं...
